Wednesday Night Television is taking years off my life

I honestly don't know how Bravo does it....but they are the best at picking contestants that can really get under my skin. I used to think that there could be no one more annoying then this dude:
Then I watched the next season of Top Chef and was introduced to that dweeb's lil' buddy, Hung, who turned out to be pretty frickin obnoxious:

Seriously though...this kid really rubs me the wrong way. He is so annoying that I almost have a panic attack whenever he talks. I am counting down the days til Heidi tells him and his "so 4 yrs ago" asymmetrical haircut "AUF WIEDERSEHEN."

Taylor is one of the most annoying little kids ever. I have dealt with a lot of kids in my past and this girl is a boneified BRAT! Her catch phrase is "deal with it" (Annoying Much) which she says all the time to her fellow Kid Nation colleagues....(imagine it with a super thick Texas accent too! Drives me up the wall! ) I hope she never wins that gold star...

For those of you who care

Here is a picture of my Thanksgiving Dinner (aka lunch) plate. Pretty much, as you can see, my method is to drown everything in gravy.....

My plate included:

Deep Fried Turkey (and gravy)
Stuffing with sausage and stuff (with gravy)
Sweet Potato thing with pecans (with gravy)
Acorn Squash (with gravy)
Corn Casserole Thing (no gravy at the time the pic was taken..but trust me...it was eaten with gravy)
Twice Baked Butternut Squash with horseradish (and gravy)
Spinach salad with bacon, pecans, and cranberries (some gravy got on that too...oppps....wink wink)
Green Bean Casserole (and more gravy)
Dinner roll(s) (this picture was taken pre-gravy. I had approximately 4 dinner rolls total.....each with a huge pad of butter and then drenched in gravy)

So bad...but oh so good

Git Cha' Snowman Doughnuts

Must admit....I am not the biggest fan of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts...don't really get the hype. I am more of a powdered sugar cake donut kind of gal...but these...these are Pretty Pretty Pretty Cute.
I guess they will be available Thur Dec. 31st AND can be filled with any one of Krispy Kreme's signature fillings for an additional $1.00 per dozen....which is pretty sweet (no pun intended...okay...that's not true, i am lying...i said that out loud and it sounded funny...so there)

Can you tell I haven't blogged in a while...i am going off about freaking snowman doughnuts that i don't even really have any desire to try....

So I am still not over the fact that Tony Bourdain is going to be in San Francisco promoting his new book, the weekend before I go home for thanksgiving....which means I will not be able to see the man. Carne Asada Fries are amazing.....For those of you who don't know...carne asada fries are basically steak nachos but they have FRENCH FRIES instead of chips! And these even had that yummy ghetto melty type of cheese on them too......had to use a fork to eat...they were amazing

(and so are fish tacos and and quesadillas and salsa verde)
